I was on a large road trip with my 91 Volkswagen camper van and unfortunately it all of a sudden wouldn't turn on despite the fact that it had just been running fine for hours without issue. I was extremely grateful when they said that they would allow me to get it towed to them as the first two places I called wouldn't even look at it due to its age. Sheldon was my first point of contact on the phone and he was extremely pleasant and very comforting and throughout the entire day he was an amazing point person who kept me up to date and was willing to have conversations with me about what was going on. I also want to shout out to their there two mechanics named Craig and Michael. I saw Craig crawl right underneath my van as it was parked in the parking lot and found a dislodged wire which is what was causing the no crank ignition. Best case scenario! Michael was an incredible teacher and very patient as we did some problem solving and hypothesizing about what a ongoing knocking sound was. I felt extremely cared for and grateful that I landed in this repair shop. I was very much impressed with their mission statement that was posted for all of their customers to see. I'm putting it

The folks at HCS Auto Repair are wonderful to work with. They are incredibly knowledgeable and they explained repairs every step of the way. I had electrical issues with my Jeep and they made sure to go above and beyond with my service and charged me a fair price. They answer the phones quickly and have a text line for communication as well. Truly kind and hard working people!

Had a radiator hose replaced. For paying over $200 to have a hose put on that I provided, I would've appreciated at least being told about my coolant outlet breaking during the hose's install. Word of warning, apparently a "recommended service" means something broke, and if you decline their recommended service they wash their hands of any professional courtesy of actually TELLING you that it's broken. The whole situation's left me with a bad taste, and I won't be using their services again. But your mileage may vary.

Love the great folks at HCS - I've used them for everything from a water pump I didn't have time to replace, transmission work, front end rebuild, and (most recently) a door that wouldn't open and a brake fluid flush and service. They are always friendly and professional, work quickly, and never surprise you with a cost. They do inspections every time to make sure nothing surprises you and allow you to review everything before you sign up for a repair. Cannot recommend them enough. My only concern is that they get so busy I have to actually schedule their services rather than calling them same day!

Avoid this shop!!!!!!!!!!!Took my truck in for an oil leak they told me where it was leaking and I told them to fix it. I get my truck back and it was leaking oil everywhere under my truck. I’d say they just guessed where it was leaking and replaced a part which cost me $1600 and I don’t even think it was leaking from there. Then I take my truck back and they say it’s leaking for a new spot and they replace the part and it’s still leaking oil. I take it back to them again for the 3rd time and they say it’s leaking in another spot now. This time it’s another $1000 to fix it. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this shop id go somewhere else. Works over priced and it seems to not be don’t right. Truck also stinks like gear oil bad. The shop also has poor communication. I put an appointment in and when I got there they didn’t even know about it. That should have been a sign for me. Had to take the truck back for a fourth time for the same problem. I’d run as far away from this shop as possible. They’re not an honest shop!!!!! Take your car elsewhere and save your self the headache!!!!!!
